Mass Book distribution 27 November 2021.

The Publishing Ministries of East Zimbabwe Conference had a mass book distribution on the
27 th of November 2021 across its whole territory. The missionary book distributed is intitled”
Hope for Troubled Times” a volume which is intended to give hope in a world of pestilences
and pandemics.
The promotion process which was characterized by short videos, audios and flyers started
early October. Churches, families and individuals in the territory of EZC caught the fire and
bought the book in preparation for the chosen impact day, 27 November 2021.
Given that we had a short period of promotion and ordering of the book, East Zimbabwe
Conference distributed 28 477copies. The distribution was done in big and small cities
targeting institutions like hospitals, schools, Prisons, clinics as well as business centers like
marketplaces, shops, service stations, etc. Those who were walking in the streets of the
urban areas that day were privileged to get a copy of the book. Some books were also
distributed at bus stops. Growth points, farming areas and typical rural areas were not left
out.
As the districts and individual churches were running around fulfilling the demands of the
day in terms of book distribution, we were in Mutare as EZC and ZEUC officers and EZC
Directors where we distributed 3 400 copies. Mutare Prison was our starting point, then
Mutare Police station, Primestone Private School and finally the streets of Mutare city. We
also sent 700 copies to Chikurubi Maximum Prison, 120 copies to Ruwa Rehabilitation
center as well as well as 40 copies at Windnsor Orphanage Home.
We appreciate the passion of mission we have noticed from the church members within our
territory which is defined by the quantities ordered in a very short period of promotion.
Given enough time to prepare we can double the quantities that we distributed this year.
Our book of the year for 2022 is intitled “The Final Hope” and 16 April is our mass book
distribution day.
We pray that the 28 thousand plus copies which were given to each individual soul will
impact their lives and give them the hope needed in these troubled times as we wait for the
imminent return of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
