WHAT WE DO?
The starting point of stewardship is to recognize that God initiates stewardship. He gives us life and invites us into intimate partnership. This partnership begins with accepting Jesus Christ as Savior—experiencing the joy of Salvation. This then leads us to trust Him enough to accept Him as Lord or Owner of our lives. Stewards were created to ‘image’ God and to represent His interests. To be a living image, stewards must mirror God’s love, character and purpose. God’s stewards are to demonstrate what He is like. Creation and redemption place stewards in close relationship with their Master. Stewards are disciples of Jesus Christ.
Every good thing of earth was placed here by the bountiful hand of God as an expression of His love towards humanity.

A revived and reformed membership of EZC in terms of a holistic stewardship that includes tithe and offerings retention.

To develop leaders and members to nurture habits necessary for spiritual growth and faithfulness in stewardship.

STRATEGIC GOALS
To ensure that Stewardship is mainstreamed in all church programs and departments. As well as each church to have stewardship related sermon/lesson once a month and to promote a daily reading culture among members.
We Believe
AS Seventh-day Adventists we believe Stewardship is the life style of the one who accepts Christ’s Lordship and walks in partnership with God, acting as His agent in managing His affairs on earth; therefore, a holistic approach that incorporates time, talent, temple (body), territorial (environment), truth and treasure dynamics is vital. 1 Corinthians 4:2 states that; Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
