WHAT WE DO?
Women’s Ministries is a place to address the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of women in the church. We encourage women to improve their potential for participation in the mission of the church. It is a support system for hurting women—whether they are suffering from divorce, abuse or simply loneliness. It is a forum to help address topics and issues as they affect the woman. It encourages women to become involved in all areas of ministry in their church, their community, and in their home. It mentors young women so that they may find joy in the Lord. Women’s Ministries recognizes that women have many Gifts of the Spirit, and it attempts to help women discover and use these gifts to the glory of God.
Women can be instruments of righteousness, rendering holy service. It was Mary that first preached a risen LORD Jesus.
Ellen. G. White
Calling people to be disciples of Christ.
Unity- oneness. Teamwork – combined effort. Accountability – being responsible and answerable to our actions. Mission Consciousness- going where He leads.
To uphold and foster quality Adventist standards of education in all our institutions of learning. To facilitate the repositioning of Nyazura, Waterfalls, Nyahuni, Anderson and Kariwi Adventist High Schools to world class Christian institutions. To have revived and reformed educational institutions characterized by vibrant prayer ministries, intentional soul winning and Bible-based teaching and learning experiences.
The Adventist we believe as stated by Ellen White that, the Lord has a work for women as well as men to do. They may accomplish a good work for God if they will first learn in the school of Christ the precious, all-important lesson of meekness. They must not only bear the name of Christ, but possess His Spirit. They must walk even as He walked, purifying their souls from everything that defiles. Then they will be able to benefit others by presenting the all-sufficiency of Jesus. We also encourage women in East Zimbabwe Conference to network and conduct programs that build bonds of friendship
